What you’ll work on:
As a member of our Custodian and Investor Outreach Team you will be responsible for collecting and distributing investor holdings data from global custodian banks and related financial institutions. This role provides exposure to our global client base across the Americas, Europe and Asia. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams to achieve the highest levels of data quality, timeliness and completeness to support our growing Corporate Solutions group.
This position is multi-faceted and requires verbal communications skills, oral and written proficiency in English (additional languages desirable), research skills and a basic knowledge of financial markets. Successful associates at IHS Markit are detail-oriented, exhaustive researchers and self-starters.
What we look for:
- Degree in a related business field
- Administrative experience
- Demonstrable interest in financial markets
- Strong verbal and written English communication
- Additional foreign language proficiency as a plus
- Cold calling experience
- Comfortable with manipulating data in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient user of Word and PowerPoint
- Data integrity and quality control focus
- Detail-oriented; able to multi-task; strong organizational and time management skills
