HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Investment Banking Analysts / Associates at Goldman Sachs gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expanded knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications, marketing and sales skills. Analysts create and analyze financial models, performing scenario analyses and tests to examine the effects of client alternatives. In addition, Analysts organize and prepare presentations, which explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to meet client goals. Analysts may also participate in and conduct due diligence sessions, a necessary component of financial transactions. From maintaining client communication to helping Goldman Sachs structure client transactions, our Analysts are a vital part of Goldman Sachs’ banking teams.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications
- Candidate must have completed an undergraduate degree
- Current experience as an investment banking 1st year Analyst (or related financial position) in an investment bank, accountancy firm or boutique advisory firm
- Strong quantitative and technical abilities
- Strong communications, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent interpersonal skills
- Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities
