Strategic Edge International (SEI), a social enterprise from Switzerland, partners with Amalna Foundation, a non-governmental organization based in the United States, to make cost-free training accessible to local community organizers and humanitarian actors in crisis countries. Our aim is to build basic skills and enhance existing capacities in an effort towards uplifting the professional quality of community-based services. This course introduces staff and volunteers of community organizations, humanitarian organizations, NGOs, and other non-profit entities to basic project management towards enhancing the effective management of their projects, staff, and resources. The methodology is self-learning through videos, slides, and handouts. Virtual discussions and online support are available with the help of our volunteer instructors.

Topics include:

1: NGO Management in accordance with humanitarian principles

2: Project Cycle Management, which includes project conceptualization and needs assessment

3: Setting Objectives

4: Implementation and Monitoring A certificate is generated for every course that you complete.

Fee information

In service to the humanitarian community, we offer online courses for free. This offer is only valid until October, 2025.
