Key responsibilities:
- Literature review of previous research done locally and internationally in the areas mentioned above;
- Undertake time & motion studies on identified mining engineering technologies at various mine sites
- Engage with OEMs on technologies related to the above areas at various mine sites
- Report on processes and results;
- Attend and present on results where required;
- Perform general administrative tasks as required by project leaders.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- A Bachelor degree in mining engineering;
- Post graduate qualification will be an added advantage;
- Experience in metalliferous mining environment will be an added advantage;
- Mechanised mining environment would be an added advantage;
- Drivers Licence;
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of programmes;
- Good numerical skills.
