Who may enter
The competition is open to illustrators of any nationality over the age of 18.

Short description

The Silent Book Contest is organized by the Italian publisher Carthusia Edizioni.

The competition is exclusively reserved for a new and unpublished illustrated books without words.

The book project must not contain words. The narration must be realized through the illustrations.

The subject is open and not restricted to any age group and readers.

The layout should be sent as a digital file in PDF format.

Entry fee
The entry fee is 50 €.

Prize
The winning book project of the Silent Book Contest 2023 will be published by Carthusia Edizioni. The author will sign a regular publishing contract and receive a cash prize of € 4.000, as advance on the royalties.
