Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA), the Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology, the private sector and other development partners will together be celebrating the International Girls in ICT Day on the 25 April 2019. This is an annual event celebrated globally on this day to encourage the uptake of ICT as a career by girls. The event will be held at the Lesotho National Convention Centre to mark this great initiative locally.
The global theme for this year is “Expand horizons, change attitudes”
Girls who are at school-leaving year will attend this half-a-day event which will start at 9:00 a.m and end at 1:00 p.m. The event will be officiated by the Minister of Communications, Science and Technology, Hon. Chief Thesele ‘Maseribane.
