The Position
IDA is seeking an Inclusion Accelerator Hub Senior Manager.
Position Start Date: 1 April 2026
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: Until 31 December 2026 (3‑month probation period)
Employment: Hybrid consultancy agreement, full‑time

Line Manager: Executive Director
Direct Supervision: Movement Strengthening Officers
The Inclusion Accelerator Hub Senior Manager provides strategic leadership, operational oversight and technical direction for IDA’s Inclusion Accelerator Hub. The role drives movement strengthening, OPD ecosystem support, innovation acceleration, and capability development aligned with IDA’s Impact Strategy 2025–2030.
The position ensures scalable OPD‑led innovations that contribute to systems transformation through high‑quality delivery of grants, peer learning, mentorship mechanisms, and ecosystem strengthening initiatives.
Duties & Key Responsibilities
1. Inclusion Accelerator Hub Management
• Lead implementation of the Inclusion Accelerator Hub strategy aligned with Strategic Objectives 2 and 4:
– (2) Leverage the potential of OPDs to pursue and achieve their strategic priorities
– (4) Drive innovation and impactful solutions addressing challenges faced by persons with disabilities
• Translate strategy into annual workplans and measurable KPIs
• Oversee staff performance, budgeting, and risk management
• Ensure integration of gender equality, youth leadership, mainstreaming, and localization across all Hub activities
2. OPD Ecosystem Strengthening & Grants Management
• Design and oversee implementation of sub‑granting mechanisms (core, project, rapid response)
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, safeguarding, and financial accountability
• Develop mentorship models linking emerging and established OPDs
• Scale ecosystem support initiatives across multiple regions
3. Innovation Acceleration & Scalable Solutions
• Lead identification and incubation of OPD‑led innovations
• Develop innovation challenges and pilot programmes aligned with thematic priorities
• Support creation of scalable models, including costing and investment cases
• Facilitate partnerships with public, private, and philanthropic actors to unlock financing
4. Knowledge, Evidence & Learning
• Contribute to development of evidence‑based knowledge products
• Document innovation models and ecosystem strengthening results
• Collaborate with MEAL team to track performance indicators and outcomes
• Promote peer‑learning exchanges
5. Partnerships
• Use evidence of impact to strengthen donor, development bank, foundation and ecosystem partner relationships
• Contribute to resource mobilization proposals and strategic partnership negotiations
Skills and Requirements
1. Education and Qualifications
• Master’s degree in international development, public policy, economics, innovation management, or related field
2. Experience
• Minimum 10 years progressive experience in international development, movement strengthening, or innovation ecosystems
• Proven experience managing multi‑country grant portfolios
• Demonstrated leadership in disability inclusion or human rights‑based approaches
• Strong experience working across Global South contexts
3. Technical and Functional Skills
• Strong operational and project management skills
• Experience implementing innovation funds or acceleration platforms
• Financial oversight and compliance management expertise
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are an asset
4. Additional Assets (Desirable)
• Persons with disabilities strongly encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with CRPD, disability inclusion financing, or blended finance mechanisms
