Job Description
The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for the end-to-end audit function to ensure that the organisation meets its operational goals and objectives by mitigating risk. The incumbent conducts audit reviews throughout the organisation, reports on findings, makes recommendations for improvement and tracks the status of implementation of audit findings of management within the business. An important function of the role is to maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships and provide specialist advice on the effectiveness of policies and procedures implemented in the organisation.
- Manages and promotes the standing of the Internal Audit Activity (IAA).
- Participates in the development and implementation of the Internal Audit engagement plan.
- Manages and executes all audit activities.
- Promotes teamwork amongst peers and team members
- Ensures customer excellence through interaction with internal and external customers throughout all business activities.
- Shares knowledge and provides specialist advice.
- Manages the audit processes, policies and procedures for the organization.
- Builds and maintains relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluates and reports on risks, controls and governance within the organisation.
- Identifies and participates in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.
