INTERNAL AUDIT CLERK (For six months)
Job Purpose
As a member of the Internal Audit Department, the candidate will make a significant technical contribution to the Audit engagements and internal projects. As a young graduate employed in the Risk, Control and Governance engagement, you will be upskilled to serve audit clients with distinction so that we continue to be entrenched as the strongest and most valued brand among our clients.
The position is structured over a 6months contract which may be renewable and is designed to ensure success in the Internal Audit profession on completion. As part of the program, the ideal candidate will gain on the job training and exposure to client engagements, which is required for the Internal Audit profession.

What will you do?
Submit pre-determined audit scope and criteria as per the approved audit schedule.
Plan audits to be carried out within the planned schedule
Perform ad-hoc scheduled audits in a systematic and defined manner and report on findings for outputs that meet set objectives established by the organization.
Process interactions to be checked and defined between departments as per the planned audit schedule.
Facilitate and assist during investigations and re-certification audits.
Prepare consulting activities as scheduled by the Internal Audit Manager.
Continuously follow-up once corrective measures have been implemented to determine whether corrective action taken has been implemented appropriately, and whether it had the desired effect.
Escalate any recurring deviations and or non-compliance issues at the appropriate next level as necessary.
Contribute towards ensuring adherence to relevant standards and policies.
Job Requirements
Relevant graduate qualification eg. N-Dip Internal Audit, N-Dip Risk Management or relevant qualifications
No experience is required for this job and due to the high competence for the position, only high performing candidates will be considered.
