Internship Opportunity – Research & Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in population health research, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E). This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a research-driven, multidisciplinary environment based in Hlotse, Leribe.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Research Director and other team members to support the design, implementation, and evaluation of health research projects and M&E activities.
Position Details
- Location: Hlotse, Leribe
- Type: Part-time (Stipend-Based)
- Duration: 18 months
- Working Hours: 3 days per week, 5 hours per day
- Remuneration: A modest stipend to cover daily transport and meals (candidates residing in or near Hlotse are strongly preferred)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant research-focused field (e.g., Public Health, Statistics, Economics, M&E, Humanities, or similar)
- Understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools/software (e.g., STATA, SPSS, R, NVivo, ATLAS.ti)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with digital survey platforms (e.g., ODK, Google Forms, REDCap, SurveyMonkey)
