Description

Role Purpose 
To ensure proper running of Vodacom Lesotho Access Network. Both mobile and fixed.
Key Deliverables
⦁    Advising of regional supervisor of power upgrade   based on future and current fit for growth requirements, organizational goals, and technology strategy to meet KPI targets.
⦁    Simplifying architecture, optimising infrastructure and introduction of new power units plan in line with business strategy.
⦁    Implementation of Radio Engineering and Network Quality QoS initiatives
⦁    Undertake capacity uprades on BBS, Transmission and Power systems.
⦁    Compile and analyse reports as per site files.
Job Specific Competencies

⦁    Advance knowledge in mobile network technologies
⦁    Advance knowledge in Mobile networks protocols
⦁    Advance knowledge in how GSM systems integrates
⦁    Medium to advance knowledge of an IP network
⦁    Basic understanding of Cloud network

Qualifications and Experience
⦁    Degree in Information Systems / BSc Computer Science / B.Eng./Electronics (or similar tertiary qualifications).
