POSITION: CONTENT CREATOR INTERN!
Made in Lesotho Cooperative (MILCO) is looking for a young, motivated Content Creator who is a brilliant and creative writer with enthusiasm about issues of innovation, for the position of “Content Creator Intern.” MILCO is the cooperative Chain Store that will sell ONLY made in Lesotho products and services. Its purpose is to support Lesotho producers by giving prominence to their products and sure markets. To achieve this never-done-before task, MILCO will seek to unearth and support the talent and innovation that is so wide-spread across the country through documenting it publicly and privately.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main duties will include, but will not be limited to:
1. Doing weekly interviews on stories of Research and Innovation across the country.
2. Directing weekly Photoshoots
3. Creating and/or writing inspiring stories for several social and traditional media platforms in both Sesotho and English, including:
a. Facebook (e.g. Milco, NUL Research and Innovations)
b. Twitter
c. Instagram
d. Tiktok
e. Newspapers
f. Radios
g. TV
AND any other duties related to Content Creation as may be assigned from time to time.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science (BSc), Degree or above.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
a. Must have a good grounding in Science, Technology and Innovation in general.
b. Must be a very good writer.
c. Must have a good command of both Sesotho and English.
d. Must be enthusiastic about innovation.
e. Must have a good attention to detail and ability to meet targets.
f. Must have a proper time management skill.
Having been a Content Creator or Writer will be an added advantage.
