Instrumentation Technician (CU) x 2
JOB DESCRIPTION/ PURPOSE
Responsible for ensuring the availability of the Diamond Plant by maintaining the instrumentation equipment according to Liqhobong Mining Development Standards and by applying best maintenance practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• 4 years’ industrial experience;
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, and or any relevant qualification;
• Experience in computerized Maintenance management system will be an added advantage;
• Knowledge of pressure, level, temperature, flow equipment in the mining industry;
• Knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong PLC Knowledge (Allen Bradley);
• Strong SCADA knowledge (RS Logix 5000)

N.B. These are Mine based positions on a rotational cycle. Applicants must be aware of the remote location of the mine, approximately 130km East-North-East of the Lesotho capital Maseru, 360km South of Johannesburg. Being a remote site, we require our staff to always show courtesy and cultural sensitivity to fellow Team Members and the surrounding local communities.
