Letšeng Diamonds (Pty) Ltd (“Letšeng”), a private company owned by Gem Diamonds Limited (“Gem”) (70%) and the Government of Lesotho (“GoL”) (30%) has insourced process function which consists of Plant Maintenance, Plant operation and Plant Procurement. As part of this insourcing, Letšeng is looking for suitable candidates for the position of INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN
Duties & Responsibilities
To safely install, repair, commission, calibrate, inspect, replace, maintain and operate field instruments and plant control circuitry and software to ensure optimum process control and monitoring so that production targets are achieved.
Desired Qualification, Experience Skills & Competencies
Engineering Degree, Diploma, or equivalent or a recognised instrumentation trade certificate plus a proven track record in the C&I field in the mining industry
Minimum of 3 years working experience in instrumentation, with hands-on experience in control systems and field instruments used in the diamond processing industry
Detailed knowledge and experience of field instruments and plant control systems.
Good experience with equipment maintenance and fault-finding techniques.
Strong quality orientation in terms of work standards.
Valid drivers license
Free from vertigo and not colour blind
