Hlotse Computer Training Centre (HCTC) is expanding its academic team and invites applications from qualified, experienced, and passionate professionals to join the institution as Full-Time Instructors.
The centre is seeking instructors who can deliver both theoretical and practical training while preparing students for the modern ICT industry.
Position : Instructor – Computer Systems Engineering / Technical Support
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Technical Support, or a related field
Required Technical Skills
Computer Hardware
- Desktop and laptop assembly
- Hardware diagnostics
- Hardware repair and maintenance
- Printer installation and maintenance
Software Support
- Windows installation and configuration
- Linux fundamentals
- Software troubleshooting
- System optimization
- Driver installation
- Virus and malware removal
Networking
- Network installation
- Router and switch configuration
- Wireless networking
- CCTV installation and configuration
Programming and Emerging Technologies
- Python programming
- Robotics fundamentals
- Arduino programming
Added Advantage:
- Internet of Things (IoT)
Additional Knowledge
- Mathematics for Computing
General Requirements
Applicants should:
- Have at least one (1) year of teaching experience
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
- Be passionate about teaching and mentoring students
- Be able to prepare lesson plans, practical exercises, and assessments
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively
