Purpose of the Job

Reporting to the Information and Communication Technology Manager, the job purpose is to provide first line support and delivery to business operations through development, installation and maintenance of integrated enterprise-wide systems and applications to achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Term of contract

Permanent and pensionable terms of employment.

Key responsibilities

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following functions:

  • Analyses the Corporation’s business systems and processes, defining, recommending and implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Manages the Corporation’s ICT enterprise resource planning system.
  • Local administration, support and customization of line of business applications.
  • Assists executing major IT projects and to manage IT projects where required.
  • Provides business intelligence to support end users regarding self-service report design and assist in back end systems management.
  • Undertakes daily operations support including Windows servers, Virtual Host servers, SAN, network infrastructure, and related systems.
  • O365 administration including Exchange and SharePoint administration
  • Responsible to manages backup and recovery of servers.
  • Provides systems administration technical support.
  • Utilizes automation tools for asset management, application delivery, performance monitoring, and automation workstation support.
  • Implements and maintains document all systems requirements associated with Disaster Recovery
  • Develops user-friendly communication channels for systems owners and end-users.
  • Cultivates an continuous learning environment and self-improvement amongst the end-users.
  • Maintains all ICT documents and information.
  • Delivers basic hardware and software training to the end-users.
  • To perform all other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science /Information Technology/Information Systems or Bachelor Engineering Computer Systems/Networks.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant Information and Communications Technology position. Working experience of CRM / ERP systems would be an added advantage.
