SCHOLARSHIP NOTICE
INDIAN COUNCIL FOR CULTURAL RELATIONS (ICCR) – INDIA-AFRICAN MAITRI SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026
The Government of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) under India-African Maitri scholarship scheme invites applications from suitable candidates to pursue Bachelors, Masters, and PhD Degrees tenable in India for the academic year 2025/26.
Conditions for Applicants:
- Scholarship is open for the provided priority areas only. (Programmes to be applied for are provided via the link below.)
- Courses to apply for exclude medicine, physiotherapy, and anaesthesia.
AGE:
- Bachelor and Masters applicants must be between 18-40 years old.
- Ph.D. applicants must be under 50 years.
ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE:
- Applicants for Masters must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum pass of second class (2, 2).
- Minimum pass of APS 26 (best 6 subjects, minimum D), with minimum C in mathematics & sciences for Bachelor degree applicants.
Requirements for Application to NMDS:
- Copies of the online application documents.
- Confirmation of inclusion in the training plan for employed applicants.
- Proof of Loan Bursary repayment according to approved Loan Bursary Fund Repayment Criteria (for previously sponsored students).
Copies of application documents must be hand delivered to NMDS Scholarships Office – NMDS Hall, Linare road, opposite former British High Commission, before 30TH APRIL 2025.
