Overview
An opportunity exists to join this Investor in People Company in the above capacity. Metropolitan Lesotho is a wholly owned subsidiary of Momentum Metropolitan Group, a company registered on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
We are currently looking for highly driven and self-motivated Independent Sales Consultants to operate as independent contractors in a commission-based role in all the districts of Lesotho.
Purpose of the Role
Attract, acquire, and retain clients by selling company products to generate new business and to provide after-sales service to clients to ensure client retention, increase market share, and contribute to the overall business objectives and its long-term viability.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Engage with prospective clients to highlight the features and benefits of various products based on their financial wellness needs to support and guide their decision-making process
- Sell products in line with client’s financial needs by conducting affordability analysis to achieve clients’ financial goals
- Achieve set targets on production, quality, and conversion
- Adhere to compliance requirements in the sales process in line with legislative requirements
- Provide financial advice in line with the engagement strategy to enhance client’s financial wellness
- Investigate client queries within the agreed service level and ensure timely feedback
- Escalate client queries to the relevant department or stakeholder
- Provide accurate information and advice to clients and stakeholders to ensure that the client receives appropriate services
- Provide regular reports on delivery of services against agreed service level agreements and overall customer targets
- Provide authoritative expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders
- Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility
- Participate and contribute to a culture that builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback, and provides exceptional client service
- Proactively build and maintain client relationships by presenting innovative and trustworthy product offerings through professional and credible financial advisory services
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in a Business-related qualification or
- Certificate of proficiency in Insurance or equivalent qualification (added advantage)
- Two (2) years related field sales experience in long-term insurance with proof of success
