INDEPENDENT NON – EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS

Our client in the financial sector is a regulated entity under the Central Bank of Lesotho (CBL) legal framework has appointed IGGLE Consulting and Coaching to recruit four (4) Independent Non-Executive Directors to serve in the Board of Directors.

The Client subscribes to the principles of King VI and Mohlomi Code, inter alia, that the Board of Directors (Board) should comprise the appropriate balance of knowledge, skill, experience, diversity and independence for it to discharge its governance responsibilities and duties objectively and efficiently.

IGGLE, is inviting applications on behalf of the Client for the positions of Independent Non- Executive Directors to its Board. The successful candidates will be responsible to bring the necessary expertise, skills and experience to steer the organisation into the future in line with various Regulator’s and Statutory Standards and Frameworks applicable.

Diversity will be a strong consideration when making appointments. The candidate must possess and/or demonstrate the criteria set up below. The following, though not exhaustive sets out the selection criteria in assessing the prospective the candidates:

The following skills, experience and knowledge are essential requirements:

1. Experience as a professional independent Board Director

2. Knowledge and demonstrable experience in Audit, Risk Management, Information

and Technology

3. Employee or Industrial Relations

4. Assets and Liabilities Management

5. Knowledge and experience of financial sector

6. Strategic thinking and execution

7. Hold senior leadership position(s) in his/her profession or business

8. Have distinctive and good professional record of accomplishments

9. Willingness to commit time and energy and attend at least 4-5 meetings of the Board

and Sub-Committees per annum

10. Possess senior or masters degrees or advanced certificate and qualification

2. Reliable, high levels of integrity and ethics, respects confidentiality
