INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER PROFILE
Mamoth Group is a wholly Basotho-owned group of companies that comprises Mamoth Health and Mamoth Funeral Services and quite recently Mamoth Pharmacy. The Group commenced business in 1998.
Mamoth Health concentrates on Medical Aid and Wellness services.
Mamoth Funeral Services focuses on burials, funeral products/services, and cremations.
Mamoth Pharmacy will dispense medical supplies.
Mamoth Group is looking to appoint independent non-executive directors to the Mamoth Group Unitary Board. Applicants for the Board of Directors position should possess analytical, communication, teamwork, and management/leadership skills. Board members may participate in board committees and provide expert advice in their areas of specialization. Remuneration of the Board shall be by payment of sitting allowances.
Specific Requirements
- Masters in Finance, Accounting, Chartered Accountant, and Business Administration with at least 10 years of experience in business operations.
- A degree in economics with at least 10 years of experience in insurance business.
- LLM with 12 years experience/LLB with 15 years experience or a governance practitioner with at least 10 years experience.
- Masters in Risk Management, Auditing with 12 years of experience in business operations or degree in Risk Management/Auditing with 15 years of experience.
