IN-SERVICE TRAINING OPPORTUNITY FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING GRADUATES
In response to the challenging terrain and adverse weather conditions that have led to the general deterioration of Maseru’s road network — particularly the gravel roads connecting villages and settlements — the Maseru City Council is pleased to announce a major rehabilitation initiative.
Thanks to funding made available by the Government of Lesotho, the Council is embarking on a critical project to rehabilitate the city’s gravel road infrastructure.
In line with the government’s national strategy of creating meaningful opportunities and skills development for the youth, this project will prioritize the training and development of local graduate engineers. The Maseru City Council invites qualified, Maseru-based Civil Engineering graduates to apply for an In-Service Training opportunity.
Successful candidates will play a vital role in this important community task, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in road rehabilitation, project management, and municipal infrastructure development.
This program is a direct investment in both our infrastructure and our future engineers. By joining the Maseru City Council, selected graduates will contribute to a project that directly improves the lives of residents by enhancing connectivity and safety on our gravel roads. This is a unique chance to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges and build a foundation for a successful career in civil engineering.
