About the Role

The Impact and Accountability Project Officer will provide support to impact, learning and accountability reviews and initiatives related to the Consortium to Promote Human Rights, Civic Freedoms and Media Development in Sub-Saharan Africa. In this role, the Impact and Accountability Officer will develop appropriate tools, support progress tracking, communicate, raise visibility and embed lessons learned in the project design and delivery. The role will work closely with the project team, the CIVICUS Impact and Accountability Cluster, consortium partners and external stakeholders in both capturing and disseminating learnings.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in monitoring and evaluation, information science or a related field. In instances of exceptional skills and experience this requirement can be waived.
  • Advanced level in using technology
  • At least 2 years’ direct experience in a position of monitoring and evaluation of large-scale projects
  • Substantive experience within non-profit/social good organisation
  • Technical knowledge and experience in implementation of gender and social inclusion approaches is a plus
  • Working proficiency in French or Portuguese, desirable
