The role:
- Facilitating the live online teaching of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to Junior High and IGCSE classes and associated tasks.
- Motivating students to do their best.
- Monitoring, remediating and enabling student academic progress
- Grading student submissions.
- Liaising with student mentors.
- Coordinating and running student discussion forums pertaining to the classes.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree as well as a PGCE, BEd or other accepted teaching qualification (SACE number).
- Experience teaching the UK curriculum will be an advantage.
- Work to and meet deadlines.
- Competent at admin tasks associated with the position.
- Comfortable and experienced with using technology.
- Ability to work in an agile environment where innovation, change and adaptation are part of the everyday.

- Excellent rapport with students, being able to engage meaningfully with them and elicit the best from them.
- In-depth knowledge and passion for your subject.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Good team player. Adept at working in different teams and collaborating with subject colleagues as well as across divisions.
