We have an outstanding opportunity for a ICT Support Specialist – Digital Platform Coordination, in the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Section, in our Strategy, Portfolio, Partnerships & Digital (SPPD) Division.
The successful candidate ICT Support Specialist – Digital Platform Coordination will be responsible for maintaining and promoting digital platforms for e-Meetings and events, and coordinating e-events on behalf of ICT. Other responsibilities entailed in this role include (but are not limited to):
- Ensures the smooth delivery of interactive remote participation (IRP) for meetings, conferences and events on the Secretariat’s Digital Platforms
- Promotes and coordinates IRP services and provides advice to internal and external stakeholders on digital platforms.
- Liaises with all the concerned sections, teams and divisions to translate business requirements into technical requirements, providing solutions and support in collaboration with other departments, external partners, host country teams and contractors.
- Manages the AudioVisual equipment setup in various meetings rooms at the Secretariat’s Offices and the Commonwealth Small states Offices and ensures that the equipment is kept in good order.
- Provides regular reports on digital platform utilisation, documents and escalates incidents and follows up on implementation of suggested improvements.
To be considered you must at least five years experience in a supporting interactive remote participation on digital platforms. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to three (3) years for candidates who possess a relevant first level university degree.
