Community Engagement for Integrated Catchment Management in Lesotho

Catholic Relief Services, the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States is currently recruiting for ICT Assistant for the Community Engagement for Integrated Catchment Management (ICM) Project in Maseru, Lesotho. 

Job Summary:  

You will assist in developing the integrated Catchment Project Information and Communication Technology solutions for data collection and reporting working directly with the ICT office and MEAL and support project staff and partners to implement and monitor the project activities using this system.

Roles and Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development, monitoring and implementation of the ICT solutions for data collection per the project M&E plan.
  • Support digital capturing of programming activities at the field level, including beneficiary identification and verification; training participation; project surveys contributing to ensuring quality project implementation and evidence.
  • Contribute to ensuring accountability to project beneficiaries and local stakeholders
  • In coordination with the project team support capacity building for project staff and partners in ICT solutions for data collection and reporting.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field (Computer Science, Computer Networking, Programming, and Information Systems) required
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in position with similar responsibilities supporting community development and data management.
  • Experience in using CommCare.

Required Languages – Proficiency in Sesotho and English
