The aim of this school is to educate African trainees and early career researchers in how to measure cognitive impairment and dementia in all contexts.
This in-person meeting and training course will provide a forum to discuss risk factors and the increasing burden of vascular and neurodegenerative diseases including HIV Dementias in the context of incidence and prevention in cross-cultural populations in Low and Middle-Income Countries compared to Europe, North America and Japan. The emphasis is particularly on how we measure cognition in the elderly and implement neuro psychometeric tools.
