Neither the host nor the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) will cover costs arising from the consequences of a positive COVID-19 test.
CMCS, as part of OCHA’s Coordination Division, will lead the event. CMCS will bring together four interdependent emergency communities: a) OCHA and UN agencies; b) surge staff from Stand-by Partners, UNDAC and INSARAG; c) United Nations Member States, including domestic and international militaries; and d) non-governmental humanitarian organizations. We encourage mid-level managers to apply.
The objective of the training course is to: a) define the concept of humanitarian civil-military coordination (UN-CMCoord), including the five sets of UN-CMCoord guidance, b) assess the UN-CMCoord environment in operational contexts, and c) play a key role in support of UN-CMCoord as it relates to humanitarian access and protection outcomes.
