Under the direct supervision of the Director of Management and Operations (DMO) and in coordination with the Deputy Director of Management and Operations (DDMO), the Human Resources Specialist (HRS) coordinates all personnel actions for Peace Corps/Lesotho in accordance with overseas contracting handbook, post-specific and United States Government policies. The HRS facilitates the recruitment, orientation, and support of Personal Services Contractors (PSCs) throughout their contractual period in addition to working closely with the DMO on a wide variety of tasks in a busy and diverse setting. In addition, the HRS manages the relationship with benefits providers, ensures compliance with local labor laws, and prepares contracts for all PSCS. Due to the sensitive nature of this position, the HRS must strictly adhere to ethical standards of confidentiality and professional conduct.

Compensation: Compensation from LSL 242,070.00 to LSL 387,325.00 per annum, negotiable based on salary history and experience. Benefits include medical aid, 13th month bonus, retirement plan, death and disability insurance, funeral grant, and others.
