Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals for the above-mentioned position. The position is in the Head office in Maseru. The incumbent will be responsible to the Head of Corporate Services.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To manage and lead the entire HR function at the Company, ensuring the overall efficiency and effectiveness of all LEC employees.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREA
The incumbent will be responsible for doing the following duties amongst others:
- Advise the Head of Corporate Services and Line Management on the best HR practices and procedures.
- Develop and implement an overall integrated HR strategy.
- Implement effective HR change management strategies.
- Develop and implement a Performance Management System (PMS).
- Develop and implement integrated training and development interventions.
- Review and update policy documents to keep abreast with HR developments.
- Budget preparation and administrative control.
- Manage the Human Resources Department effectively.
- Develop and implement sound labour relations strategies.
- Design and implement an integrated wellness programme.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Human Resources Management.
- A minimum of 5 years at the middle management level as a Human Resources generalist.
- Extensive knowledge of all sub-disciplines of the Human Resources function, including IR, labour legislation, personnel administration, organizational development, reward, and remuneration systems will be an added advantage.
- A postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management will also be an added advantage.
