HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (PATERSON BAND DU)

Letšeng seeks to engage a qualified Mosotho professional with appropriate skills and aptitude to fill the position of Human Resources Manager (Paterson Band DU).

PURPOSE: To support the CEO and Senior Management through developing, leading and spearheading the implementation of the Letšeng Human Resources strategy covering employee acquisitions, employee development and retention, manpower planning, employee remuneration and administration, employee wellness, employee experience and engagement, digital HR transformation, Labour Relations, organizational.

MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Formulate and lead the implementation of Letšeng’s HR Strategy (including digital HR Strategy) to ensure that Letšeng’s HR processes are streamlined

• Develop and lead the employee acquisition and retention strategies to ensure the availability of the right skills and attitudes as well as build a fit-for-purpose talent pool for business continuity

• Develop and deliver robust training and development plan to ensure the establishment, maintenance and review of the company training and development plan that is appropriate and in line with employee aspirations, company goals and company requirements

• Develop and direct detailed and fit-for-purpose manpower planning programs to support the current and future business manpower requirements

• Develop, implement and maintain a remuneration strategy that continues to attract and retain skilled employees and remains competitive

• Formulate the company employee wellness programmes, employee experiences and engagement programs aimed at providing the best employees lifecycle

• Provide change leadership when major changes are being anticipated which will have an effect on employees

• Be responsible for the company-wide organizational design

• Ensure the regular updating of Codes of Conduct, Disciplinary and Grievance Code and Procedure to comply with legislation, good governance and appropriate level of HR best practices

• Actively contribute and advise on the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) strategy

• Ensure that psychometric assessments are affected in accordance with HR best practices and company policies

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years’ experience with 5 years as a Human Resources Manager

• Display sound knowledge of and experience in Labour Relations, Employee Remuneration and Compensation, HR Administration and management of employee life cycle and HR Information Systems

• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels of the organization

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge and understanding of the legislation, processes, procedures and documentation involved in the skills development process

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
