Human Resource Practitioner: Service Benefits and Conditions (COO 08/2019)

Salary: R257 508 per annum (excluding benefits)

Centre: Pretoria

Requirements:

An appropriate three-year Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Human Resource

Management or related qualification plus minimum of two (02) years’ experience

in service benefits and conditions.

Good planning, organizing and problem solving skills;

Thorough knowledge of and ability to interpret and give advice on government

legislation, regulations and human resource policies,

Good knowledge of human resource procedures and practices in the Public

Service;

Computer literacy and thorough knowledge of Persal system.

Duties:

Administer the implementation of service benefits such as allowances, pensions,

resettlement costs, medical assistance, overtime, long service recognition;

Leave (including incapacity leave and ill-health retirement) and the service

termination process.

Monitor injury on duty and ensure compliance with COIDA (Compensation for

occupational injuries and diseases Act);

Compile and keep databases on all matters of service benefits and conditions;

Advise clients on service benefits and conditions.

of competency based assessments.

Furthermore, the person appointed to this position will be subjected to a security clearance, the signing of a

performance agreement and an employment contract.
