Duties

Serves as a Human Resources (HR) Assistant and advisor on Locally Employed (LE) staff HR issues. Is responsible for the full range of LE Staff personnel functions at post. This includes preparation of all types of personnel actions; placement and promotion of local employees; resignations and disciplinary actions; submission/administration of classification requests to the Africa Regional Classification Center (AFRCC); participation in local wage surveys; maintenance of position control records for ICASS; staffing patterns; personnel records and files; and preparation of periodic and non-recurring reports.  The incumbent backs up the HR Assistant responsible for Recruitment and American Services.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Three years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resource Management is required.

Education Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related major is required.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: 

English (Good working knowledge) Reading/Writing/Speaking is required.

Sesotho (Good working knowledge) Reading/Writing/Speaking is required.
