The LLWSS is a bulk water supply designed for the lowlands of Lesotho.
JOB TITLE: Human Resource / Admin Manager
GRADE: Special Grade

RESPONSIBLE TO: Director, LLWSSU
TENURE: 2 Years
JOB SUMMARY
The Manager is responsible for managing all administration and human resources activities including maintaining the office, equipment and vehicles as well as managing the welfare of all staff. The Manager will also oversee that personnel records meet the standards and regulations.
1. Key Responsibilities
The Manager will be responsible for all human resources and administration activities that include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee personnel records (e.g. contracts, PTO, and so on)
- Update company database with the data of new employees (e.g. background, qualification, skill, etc)
- Create and circulate policy documents
- Collect payroll information including working days, ledgers, and bank accounts
- Publish and remove job ads on different platforms (e.g. job boards, social networks, careers pages, etc)
- Schedule prospective candidates’ job interviews and be a point of contact as required
- Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics
- Prepare capacity building programmes to capacitate and onboard the employees
- Respond to inquiries of employees with respect to benefits like the precedent, number of qualified vacation days, etc
- Prepare expense reports and budgets
- Manage office supplies and assets and order new ones as needed, systematically filing important office documents

- Proficient with Human Resources Information Systems (HRMIS)
- Knowledge of labour legislation and public service laws and regulations (e.g. organizational health and safety, employee benefits, etc)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization and analytical skills with outstanding problem-solving skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong negotiation and sales skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks with exceptional attention to detail
Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Management with at least 10 years’ experience working in a similar position.
