The scope of work is but not limited to detailed design and construction of tailings conveyor and residue storage facility for the existing mining and process operations. Collection of water and management of such, drilling, blasting, load and haul services at Liqhobong Mine
TCL is searching for experienced, enthusiastic, result oriented and resilient Lesotho citizens to occupy the following position:
POSITION: HSE Officer (1)
JOB DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY OF PURPOSE
- To coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments in accordance with safety standards.
- To effectively control risks in a workplace.
- To implement and promote good health, safety, and environmental procedures and ensure that company activities are conducted in compliance with the relevant legislation.
- To accurately update, record, and capture HSE and production related data.
- Reconcile drilled meters.
- Provide strategic direction and ensure business is adhered to all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.
- Consult, manage and facilitates site safety targets and objectives.
- Investigate and report to HSE Coordinator any accident/incident and recommend appropriate preventative action thereof.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Safety Management.
- Certificate or programme in administration will be an added advantage.
- 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity in mining environment.
- Registered with relevant regulatory body.
- Computer literacy.
- Must possess valid light vehicle license.
