Centre for Impacting Lives is a local non-governmental, Faith based, non-profit organization working to chart a new course of life for the most vulnerable and less privileged in African society. CIL gives care and support to children, Youth, women, and their household through various interventions. CIL is currently a partner in the Karabo ea Bophelo Project for which it seeks a suitable candidate for the following position.

Position:

Human Resources Officer (1) Based in Maseru

Duration: 3 months

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, implement and manage the overall Talent Acquisition process.
  • Orientating new employees and training existing employees.
  • Identify and monitor KPI for employee performance through departmental Heads.
  • Overseeing the health and safety of all employees
  • Providing counselling on policies and procedure
  • Ensuring meticulous implementation of HRH,ER, payroll and benefits administration
  • Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance
  • Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format
  • Advising management on and handling labour related issues

Qualifications and Work experience

The suitable candidate MUST have a degree in Human Resource Management and at least two years’ experience.

Key Competencies

  • Computer literate (Word, Excel and power point)
  • Skills in Labor Law Management
  • Ability to communicate and explain HR issues and jargon in simple terms
  • Problem solving skills
