Hatch is seeking an HR Systems Analyst to support our implementations of SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, and AssignmentPro. You will work closely with our Global HR Systems team [including HR Systems Administrators and Analysts in Mississauga (Canada), Brisbane (Australia), and Santiago (Chile)] as well as the Johannesburg HR Team, to provide HR systems support to end users both locally and globally.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop sound relationships with client base
- Act as business partner to the HR Team, to ensure a strong level of system support
- Identify opportunities for business process and workflow improvements to existing system functionality
- Work with clients to develop and implement new functionality, including eliciting business requirements, translating business requirements into technical specifications, working with the HR Systems team and/or IT to develop and implement required system changes, executing system testing and verifying results to expected outcomes, and collaborating with clients to develop and conduct UAT (user acceptance testing) and end user training
- Troubleshoot and resolve system problems, including diagnosing root cause of system-related issues
- Monitor data integrity via report auditing
- Prepare bulk data changes and uploading of data
- Develop and maintain system documentation and user manuals
- Conduct user training and knowledge transfer
- Support other HR System related processes such as Salary Review, and interactions with Finance for time management
- Monitor and update the Organizational Structure in SAP SuccessFactors
- Liaise with users at all levels of the organization to understand reporting needs, and create/generate reports and ad hoc queries, as needed
- Assist with tasks within the Remuneration and Benefits area
Essential requirements:
- Relevant post secondary education or the equivalent experience with a minimum 3 year’s HR Systems experience (especially SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, AssignmentPro)
- Broad knowledge of Database Management and Human Resources
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
- Excellent organizational skills, operating with a high level of detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Experience handling confidential information
Technical requirements:
- Excellent MS Word and Excel skills
- Experience developing and writing reports
- Significant SAP HR experience essential
Desirable skills:
- Keen interest and ability to transfer knowledge within the team
