What you’ll do

The HR Services Manager inputs into decisions on operating standards and procedures, actively contributes to process and service improvement enhancing the HR support given to Vodafone employees. And ensures the team follow established standards and procedures in line with agreed KPIs and service levels and adhere to best practice to provide HR support to Vodafone employees/the business. The HR Services Manager focuses upon the management/supervision of a team providing remote (e-mail, telephone etc.) support services offering advice and consultancy support on the interpretation of standardised HR processes and plans to employees, managers and/or the business, spanning basic pay queries, benefits and other HR transactions (for example, recruitment, graduate programmes, HR Systems and ad-hoc HR Projects). Typically reports to the Senior HR Services Manager.

Who you are

* Full people supervisory responsibility for a team of HR professionals, contributes to team operating standards, sets direction and enables performance;

* Supervises the team to provide operational support to deliver tasks in line with global processes and ensure that these are fit for purpose;

* Good understanding of concepts and procedures across HR Services to recommend standards and processes around which the team should operate and ensures performance meets agreed KPIs and service levels;

* Ensures global practices and best practices are implemented across the function, uses best practice knowledge to continuously improve processes, services and facilitates the implementation of new services in the direction of an automation environment;

* Leads cross-functional projects, demonstrates strong communication and diplomacy skill s to influence and persuade colleagues when seeking approval of business cases to improve and change, systems processes and policy;

* Has an in depth understanding of HR processes guided by precedents and previous experience to review evaluate and prioritise tasks.
