HR Practitioner – Business Partner: Ref: HRP – BP

The HR Practitioner in the Business Partner division works directly with the HR Business Partner and all staff members to implement the HRM (Human Resources Management) agenda that supports the Bank’s strategic objectives.

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Implementing the Business Partner function by providing operational support and ensuring that departmental talent is always optimized to enable the Bank to effectively deliver on its mandate.

The Candidate will be required to perform:

  • Strategic Planning: Implements the identified and defined immediate, short, and long-term objectives and plans through the provision of HRM support for Business Partnerships. Aligns the HR analytics strategy with the Bank‘s overall corporate strategy.
  • Policies, Procedures, Systems, and Controls: Implements specific policies, procedures, systems, and controls to guide HRM operations and functions for the allocated line departments.
  • Service Delivery: Implements HRM Business Partner Strategy for departments to ensure that the Bank is adequately supported to deliver on its mandate and Strategy, by optimal use of its human capital.
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication: Communicates HRM and Business Partner matters to all internal stakeholders in collaboration with the COE.
  • Administration: Executes human resources administrative processes, system utilization, and functionality for line departments.
  • Risk and Audit Assurance: Implements risk and audit management processes for HRD Business Partner.
  • Analysing: Collects, compiles, and analyses HR data, and metrics for informed decision-making and reporting.
  • Reporting: Reports on allocated line departmental human resources changes and functions. Assists with data for the development of Business Partner division reports.

All candidates wishing to apply should have the above stated behavioural competences and any of the following minimum qualifications:

Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology or any other related field and any of the following HR Certifications: Digital HR/ People Analytics HR Metrics & Dashboard Reporting/ Data Analytics/ Data Science/ Statistics

Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology and any of the above HR Certifications will be an added advantage.
