Letšeng Diamonds (Pty) Ltd (“Letšeng”), a private company owned by Gem Diamonds Limited (“Gem”) (70%) and the Government of Lesotho (“GoL”) (30%) has insourced process function which consists of Plant Maintenance, Plant operation and Plant Procurement. As part of this insourcing, Letseng Diamonds is looking for suitable candidates for the position of HR Officer
Duties & Responsibilities
To provide assistance with staff management matters, control and facilitation of adherence to HR policies and procedures, and administrative support to the Mine’s overall Human Resources function.
Desired Qualification, Experience Skills & Competencies
Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent plus 3 to 5 years relevant generalist HR experience in a medium to large organisation
Mining experience will be an added advantage
Extensive knowledge of Sage VIP system
Microsoft Office proficiency
Full understanding of the Lesotho Labour Act and Regulations
Good communication skills (formal, written and verbal)
Valid driver’s license
