We are looking to add to our dynamic team – HR Generalist with solid experience working with Federal Contractors. This is a fully remote opportunity with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities & Duties: *

  • Provide day-to-day HR operational support to employees
  • Manage and provide employee support on various HR related topics such as Benefits, 401K, Performance Reviews, Cobra enrollments,and other personnel actions
  • Ensure accurate Onboarding of all employees and contractors, maintain required forms and work with FSO on any Cleared employees and contractors
  • Review monthly benefit invoices for accuracy and work with insurance broker to make corrections
  • Process Bi-Weekly payroll and oversee ADP Time Management system; track comp time, vacations and monthly expense reimbursements
  • Administer compensation and benefit plans; oversee annual performance review process
  • Work with insurance brokers to evaluate and select annual benefit plans
  • Oversee the company 401K plan and perform necessary requirements such as reviewing the annual 5500 form
  • Assist in compilation of legally required reports and documents, such as unemployment claims, garnishments, employee verification requests, etc
  • Maintain employee files in electronic form
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations; stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
  • Work with FSO to maintain Federal contracts ensuring that updated Mods are in place and employees follow requirements as established by contract partners
  • Develop and maintain policies regarding H1B regulations and procedures

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resources
  • 1-3 years’ experience with Federal Contractors
  • Knowledge of H1B regulations is required
  • Experience with ADP payroll, Time Management and 401K plans
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent administrative, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Team player who enjoys learning and growing in their field
  • Proactively seeks ways to improve process and procedures
  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Willing to undergo a background check
