As an HR Business Partner you will have as a primary funcion to support the HR Director and Management in the functions supported with generalist HR functions including overall employee wellness

Your Key Deliverables:

The incumbent will be required to perform various tasks inherent to the position such as:

  • Drive recruitment and develop recruitment practices in cooperation with Eaton’s Talent Acquisition Team
  • Participate in manpower planning and control.
  • Support the site in organizational development (succession planning, talent reviews, organizational capability development) and manager and leadership competency development through coaching and training together with HR Leader.
  • Actively participate in Inclusion & Diversity and Employer Branding activities.
  • Act as a change agent in supporting and enabling Eaton’s culture evolution.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders throughout the EMEA -region and participate in various EMEA – wide activities and projects.
  • Assist and guide managers on Labor relations matters including performance counselling and CCMA cases.
  • Coordinate and drive Employment Equity in the Campus.
  • Manage Employee Wellness for the Campus.
  • Proactively drive other HR initiatives and activities based on your own skills and wishes

Are you?


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree/ diploma in HR and / or Labor Relations.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Generalist HR, IR and Skills Development

TECHNICAL & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of HR systems, practices.
  • Knowledge of Labor Legislation, e.g. LRA, BCEA, EE Act, Skills Development
  • Knowledge/experience with CCMA Rules and legislation
  • Knowldge of BBBEE local legislation
  • Computer literate, i.e. proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills (verbal and written), including presentation skills.
  • Good planning and organization skills
