HR Administration Assistant – Europe, Africa, or Middle

HUMAN RESOURCE ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and committed HR Admin to assist in all aspects of the employee life-cycle for Europe. This position will partner closely with the HR Manager, EMEA to support HR operations in EMEA. The HR Admin Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that administration associated with all aspects of HR operations for Europe are delivered in a timely, accurate and professional manner.

This position will report to the HR Manager, EMEA.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR Manager, EMEA with New Hires and the Onboarding process
  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy of our HRIS in ADP Workforce for all of EMEA
  • Proactively identify challenges and build, effective, scalable and lasting solutions
  • Create and maintain robust HR processes and procedures that support the HR vision
  • Culturally aware by having a solid background working in a diverse, dispersed workforce
  • Prepare HR reports for Management and Finance
  • Partner with the HR Manager EMEA to deliver HR programs in a complex and matrixed business environment
  • Maintain efficiencies and effectiveness in varying work pattern and environment, being flexible when circumstances and/or priorities are changing
  • Sustain excellent interpersonal skills within the organization from Corporate, Line Managers to Employees
  • Enhance the reputation of HR by developing a strong partnership with the business leaders, being someone who they can trust to deliver what they say they are going to deliver
  • Assist the HR Manager, EMEA and Management on HR/Employee Relations issues
  • Assist the HR Manager, EMEA with the merit and performance review process in Europe working closely with peers in other regions to ensure a consistent approach
  • Assist in rollout of new policies to ensure a smooth transition for management and employees
  • Culturally aware by having a solid background in assisting various cultures with HR issues
  • Document the hiring, resignation, and termination process in all 12 European countries where we have employees
  • Work with the HR Manager, EMEA to set up benefit programs in Europe
  • Manage and maintain a secure file system for accuracy, compliance and confidentiality
  • Create HR documentation from templates e.g. offers, termination letters etc.

Education, Experience, Skills:

  • CIPD qualified (or working towards)
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in HR Admin
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work under pressure and respond quickly in a fast-paced, heavily distributed remote workforce
  • Able to work on multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating a sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Confident in their approach with the ability and desire to challenge the status quo
  • Able to demonstrate sound judgment, initiative and to accomplish duties in a timely manner
  • Ability to have meticulous attention to detail, have effective communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work at a global level, working closely with peers in other regions as required
  • Proven track record in enhancing HR’s reputation both internally and externally
  • Experience of using a HRIS system is a must, even better if it is ADP Workforce Now
  • Ability to speak German, Italian, Spanish and/or French, a plus
  • This is a full-time position working from home, so a suitable home office is essential
