Housekeeping Manager (Lesotho)

Key purpose and responsibilities:

  • To manage and coordinate the work activities and tasks of housekeeping, laundry and grounds personnel.
  • Housekeeping Management and Quality Assurance.
  • Laundry Management.
  • Grounds Management.
  • Inspections and quality control.
  • Establish and oversee a maintenance process that ensures that equipment, fixtures, fittings and linen are replaced, repaired and acquired when necessary.
  • Inventory control: manage housekeeping and laundry consumables and update stock control registers and balance records with daily usage of items.
  • Health and safety compliance.
  • Client complaint resolution.
  • Staff management.
  • Effective teamwork and self- management.

Required knowledge and qualifications:

  • Lesotho National.
  • Hospitality diploma.
  • 7 years’ hospitality industry experience.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
