Hire of Flatbed Trucks + Labour (Thetsane Ha-Sae)
Overview
The Maseru City Council (MCC) is inviting applications from local transport operators for the short-term hire of flatbed trucks with labour crews.
The Council requires six (6) separate contractors (one truck per contractor) to assist in rebuilding community connector roads and creating relief employment in Ward 07 – Ha Thetsane.
Requirements
- 1 x Flatbed Truck (8–15 tonne)
- 8 Labourers per truck
What You Get
- Payment rate per load (contractor to quote)
- Rate must include:
- Truck
- Fuel
- Driver
- 8 labourers
- Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Labour payment requirement:
- Minimum M171 per labourer per day
- Total: M1,368 per day for 8 workers
Eligibility
- Local residents with a valid Maseru City Council rates receipt
Required Documents
- Proof of Municipal Service Fees payment
- Tax Clearance
- Valid Operator’s Licence
- Vehicle registration
- Completed Quotation Form (available at MCC or via email)
