High Voltage Electrician (CL)
JOB DESCRIPTION/ PURPOSE
The incumbent responsible for ensuring the continuous supply of cost effective electricity with safe, good quality and well maintained electrical installations thereby contributing to the Mine’s ongoing achievement of its production targets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• 5 years’ experience in an electrical engineering in mining/manufacturing environment;
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
• Operations Regulation of High Voltage System Certificate;
• High Voltage Cable Jointing and Termination Certificate;
• Safety Earthing, Protection of Electrical and Electronic Equipment Certificate;
• Proficient computer skills such as MS office suite;
• Knowledge of High Voltage Electricity procedures;
• Experience in HV Maintenance and switching.

Applicants must be aware of the remote location of the mine, approximately 130km East-North-East of the Lesotho capital Maseru, 360km South of Johannesburg. Being a remote site, we require our staff to always show courtesy and cultural sensitivity to fellow Team Members and the surrounding local communities.
