Job Summary:
The healthcare content writer will provide support for product development, quality, and responsible for writing/editing content in all print and digital mediums. The writer will perform a variety of duties in support of company goals, objectives, and protocols. The healthcare content writer will communicate complex medical information in clear and compliant writing and have meticulous attention to detail with solid writing and organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Writes, reviews and edits all written materials for our medical services, including RFP’s, RFI’s, blog posts, website content and press releases.
- Understands the objective, audience, and purpose of each piece, and can adjust to writing for each accordingly.
- Able to review and convey complex detailed information.
- Follows direction, adheres to deadlines, and tracks overall workflow.
- Acts as an in-house expert resource on grammar, punctuation, and other editorial issues.
- Compiles, writes and edits medical writing deliverables covering all phases of clinical case studies.
Skills and Expertise:
- 3+ years healthcare writing/editing experience required.
- Experience with Workers’ Compensation is highly desirable.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail required.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills required.
- Knowledge in Healthcare and Insurance industries.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
Education Requirements:
- BA required (Marketing, Journalism or Communication degrees preferred).
- Must provide a professional portfolio.
