Health & Safety Officer
Location: Maseru
Job Description
The Health and Safety Officer will ensure that the organisation complies with health and safety regulations and promotes a safe and healthy work environment for ACE employees.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Report accidents and incidents with production and other departments to the immediate Manager
- Monitor operations to ensure that production health and safety standards are met
- Recommend adjustments to assembly or production processes
- Inspect, test or measure materials and components being used
- Identify hazards, remove all materials that fail to meet specifications and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure that the factory floor and ACE environment meet the health and safety standards
- Keep records and investigate accidents/incidents on the production floor and the entire company
- Conduct regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques
- Keep up to date with relevant health and safety legislation and industrial best practices
- Deliver health and safety training programs
Requirements
- Diploma in Health and Safety with 2 years’ experience
OR - Certificate in Health and Safety with 5 years’ experience
