HEAD SKI PATROL
Afriski Mountain Resort invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Head Ski Patrol at its site at Mahlasela Pass.
Job Responsibilities
You will:
• Perform daily unpacking and installation of required netting
• Conduct daily lift checks before slope opening
• Conduct daily slope checks after grooming
• Ensure slope conduct rules are followed by all slope users
• Take care of injured guests and facilitate evacuation to the Medical Clinic
• Refuel ski‑doos
Requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and at least one (1) African language
• Good hearing; must be prepared to undergo a hearing test upon request
• Strong listening skills with the ability to understand and carry out instructions accurately
• Ability to carry out work according to standards and routines
• Vibrant and friendly personality
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Willingness and ability to work overtime when required
• Smart, clean, and neat personal presentation
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Honest, reliable, conscientious, responsible, disciplined, and able to maintain high team morale
