IntroductionHead of Sales and Marketing’s role will include;
•To ensure the effective achievement of the consumer finance objectives, through overseeing deduction at source in-country, ensuring that clear objectives are set in order to maximize country performance.
•To implement and drive the consumer finance strategy in-country in conformance to the overall Group strategy and ensure that it delivers the set financial targets to drive the balance sheet and profitability.
•Drive diversification to the non-government sector to reduce over-reliance on government, through creating a compelling value proposition for aggressive employer acquisition.
•Drive in-country growth by optimizing sales through solution enhancement and sales governance.
•Optimize digital channels usage in order to deliver budgeted payouts targets while minimizing settlements.
•To ensure that the highest standards of service delivery are maintained and that changing customer and business needs and requirements are recognized and adapted to on a timely basis within the subsidiary.

Specification1.Ability to develop and communicate well structured proposals, including country and regional action plans.
2.Ability to develop and communicate industrial vision, mobilize and motivate local teams to share and adhere to the vision.
3.Where problem facilities are identified, workout and loss control strategies need to be formulated and job holder needs to be able to bring knowledge and experience to this, both first hand, and also of a “where else to look and seek advice” nature.
4.Ability to identify issues and come up with unique and practical solutions.
5.Ability to devise revised strategies to avoid repeat mistakes.
6.Ability to develop a good working relations with all executive management (and other levels) for a smooth running of the business but at the same time must demonstrate the authority and courage to challenge the status quo when necessary.
Requirements1.University degree in Business Administration, Economics or Marketing.
2.A minimum of 3 years successful experience in a senior role in the financial services industry.
3.Experience with designing and implementing business development plans at multi country level.
4.Possession of clear thought and expression, both verbal and written, together with the ability to mix and converse freely with all levels of management
