The first dating app for couples and singles, Feeld is a pioneer in enabling pairs to explore dating together. We are building an inclusive, human-centred product and are currently expanding our development team with several engineers.
As the Head of QA, you will be responsible for building our QA team and assuring the high quality of the Feeld product. We expect you to hit the ground running, joining our engineers and setting up a set of standards and processes in place. As our very first QA engineer, you will have the opportunity to set quality standards across the product development team and lay the foundation for putting together a team of your own.
You will join a small yet growing team of talented, mission-oriented humans spread across the world.
What you will do
- Develop a strategy for the quality of our software
- Build and own the culture of quality in the company in close collaboration with the engineering and product teams
- Establish quality metrics for the product ensuring reliability and smooth performance, and introduce and observe them across the team
- Work as part of a cross-functional team to ensure product quality
- Prioritise and triage issues in a way that allows for efficient resolution and pre-emption in the future
- Take part in feature development from inception to rollout
- Build acceptance criteria for features
- Work closely with the Product team to understand the priority of issues customers face
- Start hands-on and gradually scale a team of QA professionals by hiring, training and scaling the effort across the organisation
About you
- You love testing and have experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android
- Experience working as a QA for 3+ years in a company with a user-facing product
- Have led a team of 2-5 QA Engineers in the past
- Have experience with agile methodologies
- You understand the features of mobile platforms and the particularities of testing on mobile devices
- You have a high standard for quality and know how to introduce it as a practice
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
